Our Menu Philosophy

The Trident was created around a simple belief: Minot deserves more places where people can gather without feeling rushed, crowded, or talked down to. We wanted to build a true third space — not home, not work, but a warm in-between place where conversation comes easy, the lighting feels right, and the drink in your hand feels chosen with care.

Our menu reflects that mission. We focus on wine, beer, and zero-proof cocktails that are approachable, interesting, and worth slowing down for. Not everything has to be rare, expensive, or complicated to be good. Some drinks are familiar and comforting. Some invite you to try something new. The goal is balance: quality without pretension, variety without clutter, and hospitality before ego.

We chose to create The Trident in Minot because this city has always been built on connection — neighbors, stories, hard work, weathered seasons, and people making a place together. A good drinkery should add to that. It should give friends a reason to meet, couples a place to linger, newcomers a place to feel welcome, and regulars a place that starts to feel like theirs.

At The Trident, we are not just pouring wine, beer, and zero-proof cocktails. We are building a room for conversation, celebration, quiet moments, first dates, old friends, and ordinary nights that become a little better because someone made space for them.
